Before composite stocks and brushed stainless steel barrels, every Weatherby that fell into the hands of lucky hunters was rich walnut and blue steel. I pay homage to those days of traditional craftsmanship for hunters who still marvel at classic styling. I come complete with regal diamond-point checkering, a rosewood forend and grip cap, maple spacers and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. If that doesn’t speak volumes, then my legendary Mark V action and “Bo-whoop” magnum report says the rest.

240 Weatherby Magnum Mark 5 Deluxe
I have the privilege to own this rifle and have shot many mule deer in eastern Oregon at distances on average of 400 yds. This rifle is great to shoot and is also deadly on deer with factory Weatherby Ammo and also Handloaded Ammo with 105 grain Berger VLD’s. This rifle will never leave the family it will be a keepsake to pass on to my children. Thanks again for a beautiful rifle and great rifle, build quality again Weatherby.

Simply the finest, period!
As a young boy, I became fascinated by guns and hunting thru an uncle that was an accomplished hunter and shooter. I read every hunting magazine I could, and saw a Weatherby ad, in full color. I asked my uncle about Weatherby’s, and lo and behold he pulled one out of his safe! It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, and I vowed to have one some day. Fast forward 40 years, and my local gun shop had a gorgeous used Mark V Deluxe in perfect shape, at a price I couldn’t pass on! FINALLY I HAD ONE! In .300 Wby., it fit me perfectly, and the recoil was no problem with the Pachmayer pad. FIRST group was 3/4”!! I have more confidence in this rifle than ANY other I own. Stunning power, accuracy and looks. Now I want a .257 Wby.! Selling ‘R’s and ‘W’s to get one, as nothing else compares!
An absolutely superb rifle
I've owned a 240 and a 270 WBY Mag for almost 30 years now and have to say, these rifles are impeccably built. From the fit and finish to the performance on the bench and in the field, they are truly a class act!
I own many Weatherby rifles and just recently purchased a brand new Mark V Deluxe in 30-06. I have several German made Weatherby's and several Japan models and Italian 22's- anything made by Weatherby is high-end and well worth the investment. The newest model Mark V's are the very best I have ever seen and owned - bar none. GJK
