You could compare me to an Olympic runner who just ran his best time – then immediately hits the gym to run it even faster next time. I am a Mark V Accumark through-and-through, yet with that added push that lets me stand on the Range Certified podium with my victorious hands in the air. For me, RC status means I’ve been tested and proven on the line. For you, it’s an assurance that I’ve been pre-ordained to make your next shot at a big game animal as accurate as it can be.

Great shooting gun.
I love this rifle. Never shot better except it is sooo heavy I can’t hold it offhand. Have to have a rest. The composition stock is what I think my problem is. I’m looking into buying an aftermarket stock or one from Weatherby. Where are those famous wooden sticks?
Finnally accurate using handloads
I love my Weatherby BUT had no accuracy with the factory ammo. 2.5" group at 100 yards using their 180 grain Nosler ammo. Sent it back to factory, they told me it would group 180 gr. Barnes, 200 gr. Nosler and 200 gr. Barnes, but not the 180 gr. Nosler. I told them their warranty stated their factory ammo would shoot sub1" group and did not exclude the 180 gr Nosler. I was angry and put the rifle up for over a year and started over with a load. I'm now getting sub 1" groups with Nosler 180 gr. Accubond AND Partitions thanks to Noslers recommendations on loads. This all happened several years ago. My point is I don't think their ammo is what they say it is unless you want to pay for overpriced ammo.
This is my first Weatherby, but will not be my last ! Took it out to the range and it shot the factory ammo that it used in testing under 1/2 in MOA! It not only looks and functions beautifully but it is an absolute tack driver. I have more expensive rifles in my gun case but this is my new favourite!
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BOLT ACTION
Absolutely the best bolt action ever put on a rifle. I have numerous bolt action rifles, some even claim to have magnificently smooth actions. They can't even come close to this. I'm using a 300 wby mag and my handloads. Accuracy is through the roof. I've bought and sold a lot of rifles over the years but this is my lifetime keeper, something I'll pass down to my kid.
300 Win Mag Accumark RC
This was my first Weatherby and could not have been more pleased. This was a retirement gift to myself for a elk trip in the future. I retired a Remington 700 in 7MM that I never thought I could find a better shooting weapon. Not sure if I will be purchasing anything else but if I do you can bet it will be a Weatherby .
